Weight in day! Down 2 lbs (note to self....get digital scale, so you have an accurate number.) As I predicted "lose it" has instructed me to eat 1,199 calories per day in order for me to continue to lose 2 lbs per week. I will NOT eat under 1200 calories as I believe we get into starvation mode when we start to get under that number. I was hoping it would let me enter a permanent calorie intake of 1200, but so far, It will not allow me to do this. It will however allow me to add 25 calories to 1,199 and make it permanent, but that's too many calories! I just want to add 1! Ha ha...
I'm so happy that this week is over. Friday-Friday was a tough week for me as far as "dieting" goes. Easily the hardest since I started. I never felt full this whole week. Last night was the worst. I was at work for nearly 13 hours, went home, threw a whole foods burrito in the oven to cook for an hour, went to gym while it cooked for 400 calorie burn. Came home excited to eat what looked to be a delicious dinner.....only to find out the burrito was inedible. It was dry and tasteless. The salad I had with dinner was also pretty bad. I topped it with a salsa/light sour cream mix. I don't know if it was the dressing or the fact that my "go to" giant salad bowl, that is meant to last the whole week, was getting old and just didn't taste so good anymore. I ended up throwing my dinner away and having a bowl of cereal instead :(
To be honest, on my way home from work yesterday, I kept thinking "maybe I'll just skip the gym today," "maybe I will just eat what I want for dinner, I'm too tired to cook or even thinking about making a meal." I knew doing either/both of these things would push me past my calorie intake, but I was left wondering......"Do I even care tonight?" I went ahead and did my workout (while listening to a Beastie boys mix, RIP,MCA!) and ate a meal (not my intended meal) with an appropriate calorie budget. I knew if I broke my diet tonight I would feel ashamed. This was the first day since starting my diet in March where I almost talked myself out of following my programm. I hadn't even tried until last night. today I am feeling more at ease, and can look forward to my pre-planned tuesday diet (or lack thereof) disaster of cheesy tapas and margaritas before the Black Keys concert. It's just a day! (note to self- write post on Easter diet break, and how astonished you were at how much you ate,)
Later!
Wow you made it through your worse day yet, so amazed you didn't cheat. Will power!
